Join the Pasadena Symphony and POPS as we host the Los Angeles tribute celebrating the life and legacy of our late Principal Pops Conductor, Marvin Hamlisch with a free concert on the steps of Pasadena’s City Hall. This concert will feature host and emcee Jason Alexander as the orchestra plays many of Marvin’s most memorable songs, including selection from A Chorus Line, They’re Playing Our Song, “Nobody Does It Better,” “The Way We Were,” as well as music by the people that inspired Marvin: the Gershwin’s, Jule Styne, and others.
Come early for pre-concert activities for the whole family! Beginning at 5:30pm, we will have our musical instrument petting zoo, children’s entertainment, food trucks, and more!
